Networked energy storage devices

Network energy storage (SNE) creates a reserve of energy during the partial load of the power system and its subsequent return to the system at peak consumption, thus reducing the dependence of generating capacities on uneven consumption and improving the quality of the energy produced for the end user.

The structural component of the energy storage system is the SNE-accumulator on lithium-ion batteries with an integrated power unit - DC / AC converters, automation elements and relay protection.

The use of NDE provides the following advantages:

  • The possibility of working on a two-tiered tariff is the accumulation of energy in a period of low cost and its
  • delivery to the network at a high cost;
  • Energy reserve for critical consumers and their support in case of interruptions in
  • power supply;
  • The possibility of integration with alternative energy sources.

Structurally, the SNE is made in the form factor of a standard transport container. The container contains a battery, a power transformer, switching equipment and a frequency converter. Depending on the parameters of the SNE, the number of containers can vary.
